* Vacations *
My favorite one so far would have to be Yellowstone National Park.  We traveled by car with our
pop up camper in tow and camped in several RV Parks along the way.  I have been twice before,
once as a child and again right after I was married, but this trip was just more memorable, exciting,
breathtaking, etc.   Maybe it was because we had our own children to share it with, or maybe it was
the experience of actually camping inside the park.  But whatever it was, I will never forget its magic!

Our first ski trip with the kids turned out to be a blast.  They caught on so fast and loved every minute of it!
Before I knew what happened they were all zooming past me like they'd been skiing all their lives.  Oh to be
so  young and fearless again!

We went earlier in the season worrying that we wouldn't have enough snow.  The first day it was pretty rough
trying to miss all the dirt patches.  But the next morning they received over 6" and it didn't stop until the day we
were supposed to drive home. Found ourselves worrying we wouldn't make it down the mountain because of
all the fresh power!  What an exciting but nerve racking experience!!

We celebrated my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary in Colorado.  The entire Ohnoutka family went and it turned out to be very special.  Lots of snow, fun and laughs.  My family and I took a snowmobiling trip to the Continental Divide.
It was breathtaking!  The kids were a bit cold when we returned to base camp, but I could have spent hours taking in
the amazing scenery.  For a Texas girl, I'm finding that I really love the snow.  But just for brief spurts.  It gets really
cold!
