that side of me that loves to dream.

**The one book that has made an everlasting impression on me?
"Rebecca"  by  Daphne du Maurier.  This is the reason I write today.

Fear of failure.  Fear of success. Fear others will question our motives.
Why can't we trust God?  Trust that He will take care of our struggles.
Not just the big ones, but all of them.

Let go of your yesterdays, your past failures, past struggles
and focus on the now.
The today God wants for you.

Take your hands off the steering wheel of your life and
give the control back to the one who knows where you are going.
Even when you are unsure of the direction you've come.

Dreams were given to us as gifts.
Gifts from God that should not be unattainable.
Gifts God wants to give us.

But, it is our choice.
Another of God's gifts.

The right to make our own decisions.
Good or Bad.

He'll be there no matter what.
But until we "Let go and let God",
we'll never truly experience the magnitude of what God wants for us.

Don't hide away.

Forget about the many reasons you can't in life and just start to try.

Today's your day to fly!

After the birth of my second child, it became clear I needed to find a way to
extract all the stories floating around in my head or go completely crazy.  Once
on paper they finally leave me alone.  I can focus on family, friends, other
hobbies.  But it's not long before something I read, watch or live pops up another
idea demanding all my attention.  And it’s the funniest thing.
I kinda like it!

Reading has always been a big part of my life and I started writing my first book
in the seventh grade.  But this dream emerged slowly, lingered in the back of my
mind gathering information, taking in the scenery and quietly listening to
everyone and everything around me before completely consuming my life.   It
wasn't until I found myself rewriting the endings of books and movies, even
picking apart the plot and characters, that I decided to try writing.
