Reading has always been a big part of Melissa's life and she started writing her
first book in the seventh grade.  But her dream of being an author emerged
slowly.  The idea lingered in the back of her mind as she gathered information,
took in the scenery and quietly listened to everyone and everything around her.
Soon she started rewriting the endings of books and movies, even picked apart
the plot and characters.   This is when she decided to give writing a try.  Now it is
a passion.    Once on paper, the story and characters finally leave her alone.  She
focuses on family, friends and other activities.  But it's not long before something
she reads, watches or lives pops another idea into her head that demands
attention.  And it’s the funniest thing.  She kinda likes it!
